The Greatest Great Danes

A year and a half ago, my husband and I adopted our first Great Dane, Sonia. Three months later, we welcomed another Great Dane adoptee, Baxter, into our life! As far as dogs go, we hit the jackpot! Our Danes are the sweetest, most lovable, and most obedient dogs I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Sonia, who just turned 3, is afraid of EVERYTHING! I had to escort her to the water bowl yesterday because the dreaded vacuum was in the kitchen! She has a lot of hair loss, a result of being kept on concrete when she was younger, and some strange mental quirks, but she is the sweetest dog you will ever meet!

Baxter, on the other hand, is virtually fearless! Unless his dad is upset with him, nothing bothers this boy... except if you aren't paying attention to him! He's the crier/whiner/baby of the family. At 4 1/2, he's in love with anyone who will pet him and wants nothing more than to snuggle up close to us on the living room couch!
